Greatly soothing to the digestive tract, this turmeric chai latte is non-caffeinated and packed with anti-inflammatory spices that improve blood circulation and cardiovascular health.

Servings: 1 cup
Ingredients
1 cup of water
1 whole clove (or a pinch of ground cloves)
½ tablespoon of whole peppercorns
1 ½ teaspoons of ground ginger
2 teaspoons of ground cardamom
½ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon ground turmeric
1 cup of milk or vegetable drink
2 teaspoons of honey
Approach
- In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the spices and turn off the heat. Remove the pan from the hot element and let the infusion rest for 5 minutes.
- Using a sieve, filter the preparation.
- Add the milk and honey then bring the tea back to the boil.
- Remove immediately and serve hot.
