Lissa's favorite

Dynamic and smiling, Lissa has been a health advisor at our Gréber branch (Gatineau sector) since 2020. After several experiences in hairdressing and daycare, it was her passion for natural products that led her to join our team. "For me, La Boite à Grainsis simply health. Eating healthily, paying attention to your diet, having a better knowledge of natural products and their benefits, are messages that we need to pass on to as many people as possible.".

Lissa presents her favorite product, PureHA Formule Avancée from Quebec-based Revelox.

Why PureHA from Revelox?

I started taking this product a few weeks ago, and I love it. It's an advanced formula based on marine collagen. I used to take bovine collagen, but it was causing me digestive problems. Marine collagen is much better assimilated, and the PureHA formula also contains silica and hyaluronic acid, which is very good for the skin.

As we age, the body produces less and less collagen naturally, so it's important to take a supplement to compensate. It's good for skin, hair, nails and joints too.

What I like about PureHA is that it's a liquid formula with a great apple taste. Just add it to a glass of water and you're ready to go.

Do you have any tips for using this product?

It's a really interesting product, especially for people with joint or skin problems. You have to be disciplined in the sense that it doesn't work overnight. If you take it daily and regularly, you can really see a difference.

Let's talk about diet. What does a healthy diet mean to you?

It's giving yourself the right to "cheat" at the end of the week, but making sure you eat a healthy, balanced diet the rest of the time. I eat lots of vegetables, lots of fiber, fruit and protein sources like chicken and fish (I try to avoid eating red meat often).

Of course, a healthy diet means avoiding processed products as much as possible, favouring organic and local produce whenever possible.

Do you have a favorite meal of the day?

I'd have to say dinner, because I often have the opportunity here to eat on the spot at La Boite à GrainsI can discover new products or prepare homemade salads. I add a little chicken, radish, carrots, cheese, chili pepper... and it's a complete meal.

Do you have any healthy habits to share?

I love walking, and have done since I was a little girl. It's important to spend as much time as possible outdoors, and as soon as you can, not to stay cooped up inside.

I also do meditation and yoga. It's taught me how to breathe properly, especially when you're having panic or stress attacks. It helps me a lot to manage my anxiety problems.
