This biscotti recipe is not only easy to make, it's 100% vegan and absolutely delicious! What more could you ask for in a snack!
It's the perfect combination of chia, cocoa and pistachios to give you your daily dose of omega-3.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tbsp. Prana ground black chia
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- ½ cup of Prana raw cocoa powder
- ½ tbsp. sea salt
- 1 cup of Prana raw shelled pistachios
- 1/4 cup of melted cocoa butter
- 1 cup of cane sugar
- 1 tsp. ground vanilla orvanilla extract
- 1/3 cup water
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, pistachios and salt. Set aside for later use.
- Blend remaining ingredients in blender until smooth. Mix dry and liquid ingredients together, and knead for a few minutes.
- Separate the dough into two equal parts and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Form the dough into a shape about 3" wide and 1.5" thick. Bake for 30 minutes, remove from oven and cool for 20 minutes.
- Reduce oven heat to 300°F. Cut into 1" wide strips and return to oven for 20 minutes, until biscotti are dry. Enjoy!
