Coralie and Marisol's favorite

Coralie and Marisol, sisters in life, are full-fledged members of the La Boite à Grains. From a young age, they have accompanied their parents to the aisles of our stores every week to do their grocery shopping. Marisol, the eldest, began her career in 2016 as a clerk at our St. Joseph Boulevard branch. After joining our shipping team that processes orders for our online store, she brilliantly took over the department in the midst of the pandemic.

Coralie followed in her big sister's footsteps in 2019, joining our Plateau branch. Her quality work was rewarded in the fall of 2021 with a promotion to assistant manager.

Both appreciated for their kindness and professionalism, they introduce us to their favorites: the Four O'Clock organic black morning tea and the Yogourmet yogurt culture.

Why Four O'Clock Organic Black Morning Tea?

Marisol: It's an all-purpose tea! From the beginning of fall, I drink it every day. I prefer it English style, with a little sugar and milk. Sometimes with honey too.

In summer, it is delicious as an iced tea with a little stevia!

I choose Four O'Clock because this company gathers several values and characteristics that I look for: it is a Quebec company, and their teas are certified fair trade and organic.

Why Yogourmet yogurt culture?

Coralie: It's easy to prepare and tastes great! I eat it with granola or use it as a base for smoothies. It's a great alternative to traditional yogurts.

Let's talk about food. Do you have a favorite meal of the day?

Marisol and Coralie (together) : the dinner!

Marisol: This is the meal that gives the most freedom, in our house we eat very diversified. It can take several months before the same dish comes back to our plate... Our cuisine has Asian, Indian, and other cultural influences.

What is a healthy diet for you?

Marisol: It's all about balance and choosing quality products and ingredients.

Coralie: Ethics are very important. To eat well, you have to know everything about the products you use, where the ingredients come from, etc. At our house, the fruits, vegetables and meat come exclusively from local farms.

Do you have any healthy habits to share?

Marisol: During the good season and as long as the weather allows it, I take my bike to get to and from our house. La Boite à Grains!

Coralie: I make sure I stay well hydrated. I drink a lot of water and apple juice. I also take long walks on occasion.
