Eric arrived in 2017 and is a tireless pillar of La Boite à Grains. Director of Communications and Digital, he deploys his energy and knowledge to contribute to the development of our company. And never hesitates to lend a hand to his colleagues when needed. Interview with Eric

Can you tell us about your first two favorites, Genuine Health's All-in-One Nature and Botanica's Perfect Protein Chocolate?

I was looking for complete plant proteins that help me get all the energy I need. I'm allergic to hemp, which added another criterion to my selection. In these two proteins, the ingredients are 100% natural and organic, and the All-in-One also includes probiotics, greens and adaptogens.

I add a scoop of each to my morning shake and it starts my day off right.

Two of your other favorites, from Smart Sweets and Patience, take us into the world of snacks. And they have one thing in common...

I seem to like watermelon! I've got a sweet tooth and it reminds me of the watermelon candies of my childhood... Sourmelon bites from Smart Sweets contain natural sweeteners like monk fruit, and are very high in fiber. For Watermelon-flavoured SourCran I have fierce competition from my daughter, who also loves them!

Finally, give us your take on Kyan Cuisine's colorful Shawarma Bowl?

It's a simple solution for a meal, and at an affordable price. The ingredients are fresh, there's a nice balance of flavors, the protein intake is good, and it's reminiscent of the taste of shawarma, all in a healthy vegan version. I often add Kyan Cuisine salad salad with a protein bar for a great lunch.

What does healthy eating mean to you?

First and foremost, it means choosing plant-based foods. They offer a nice balance of flavors, are rich in nutrients, and it helps keep costs down. One food that's often underestimated is tofu, and I love cooking it. There's another one I'd like to use more, and it's in my plans, and that's PVT.

You mustn't hesitate to be creative in the kitchen with the ingredients you have around you. I learned that quite quickly from my mother, and I intend to instill it in my daughter, who has just turned 2. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

Do you have any other healthy habits to share?

I generally work out 4 or 5 times a week. Right now, with the renovation work in my house, it's even 7 days a week!

I find some of the virtual reality equipment absolutely fantastic... I really like boxing, and it allows you to practice at home, feeling like you're in a gym.
