Preparation : 10 minutes
Chilling time : 1 hour
Servings : 15 protein balls
Ingredients
¼ cup gluten-free oat flour *
½ cup of sunflower butter
½ cup of Genuine Health vanilla-flavoured vegetable protein powder
3 tablespoons honey (replace with agave syrup for vegan option)
½ cup of dark chocolate chips
*Oat flour is obtained by pulverizing whole rolled oats in a high-powered blender for a few seconds
Procedure
- Place all the ingredients except the chocolate chips in a medium-sized bowl.
- Knead until the dough is sticky and smooth. If the mixture is too grainy, add a tablespoon of plant milk to make the dough slightly stickier.
- Add the dark chocolate chips and knead again, until the chocolate is evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- To shape the balls: place a tablespoon of mixture in the palm of your hands. Knead the dough into round balls.
- Place the balls on parchment paper and refrigerate for at least an hour.
- The balls will keep for 5 days in the fridge.
