Ingredients
Smoothie
- 8.5 g (2/3 scoop) of Greens+ Original nature from Genuine Health*
- 1 cup oforganic black beansdrained and rinsed
- 2 cups of frozen organic blueberries
- 1/2 cup filtered water
- 4 tbsp. creamy organic almond and hazelnut butter
* Genuine Health advises new Greens+ users to start with 1/3 scoop a day and gradually increase the portion to one full scoop a day over a three-week period.
Toppings (optional but highly recommended!) :
- Fresh organic blackberries, strawberries or raspberries
- 1/2 tbsp. organic black chia seeds
- 1/2 tbsp. organic ground flax seeds
- 1/2 tbsp. organic raw pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 tbsp. organic coconut
Process
- In a blender, combine all smoothie ingredients, taking care to include both liquid (filtered water) and soft (black beans, almond butter and Greens+ powderpowder) first.
- Blend until smooth, thick and creamy. Add a little more water if necessary.
- Pour mixture into 2 medium bowls.
- Using a mortar and pestle or coffee grinder, grind the flax seeds.
- Decorate bowls with coconutseeds and fresh berries. Let your creativity inspire you!
Tips and tricks
- La Greens+ powder powder can simply be added to a glass of water, no-bake snack balls or a smoothie.
- For better absorption of the nutrients present in flaxseedIt is recommended to crush it yourself at home before each use.
- Spend more time chewing your food! That's right! Even a smoothie bowl requires the addition of saliva (salivary amylase) to facilitate the digestion and catabolism of long-chain carbohydrates. What's more, eating slowly gives your body enough time to let you know when it's full. So you can avoid overeating!

Substitutions
- You can easily substitute black beans with kidney beans or the legumes of your choice.
